Agnes Copp

Helen Agnes (McKenzie) Copp, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Eastside Special Care Home, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born in Sunny Corner, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Frances (Sheasgreen) McKenzie. Agnes was a longtime active member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, where she devoted much of her time, and will be remembered as a good friend to many.

She will be greatly missed by her seven children Joan (Jim), Laura (Eric), Stephen, Theresa (Bill), Julie, Carolyn (Wally) and Jamie; two sisters Alma (John) and Patricia (Ron); three brothers Thom (Randi), Robert (Maxine), and Richard (Natalie); grandchildren Matthew, Jennifer, Allison, Colleen, Tye, and Karter; great grandchildren Ashton and Wesley; and several nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Terrance James Copp (1985); sister Sr. Joan McKenzie; and brother James McKenzie (Greta).

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of one's choice.
