Alfred John Adams, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 60.

He was the son of the late Gordon and Elizabeth (McLeod) Adams. He was a carpenter by trade and attended St John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Ann Craik of Williamstown; son Eric (Erica Bozak) of Edmonton; stepdaughter Daphne (Eric Savoie) of Barryville; seven sisters Eunice (Tom Wilcox) of Winnipeg, Minnie Simpson of Miramichi, Marguerite (Rev. Robert Barry) of Loggieville; Hilda (Ray Rocca) of Saint John, Norma (Scott Mutch) of Miramichi, Pauline Adams of Miramichi, and Christina Adams of Little Branch; five brothers George of Little Branch, Arthur (Lylla) of Napan, Brian (Davida) of Miramichi, Denis of Little Branch, and Donald (Kim) of Miramichi; three granddaughters Isabella, Aleah, and Eliza Savoie; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Auley Adams and Jackie Adams.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, from 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 pm, with Rev. Robert Barry and Rev. Diane Juckes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Williamstown Church Cemetery, or to a memorial of one's choice.
