Allison Porter

Allison E. Porter, 100, of Autumn Lee Retirement Home, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Born June 13, 1922 in Tabusintac, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Amanda (Munroe) MacIntosh.

Allison was a retired school teacher, she attended and graduated from Tabusintac High School, and went on to Fredericton Normal School (Teachers College) and then taught for many years. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church, Moncton and Calvary Baptist Church, Miramichi.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 68 years, Harry Porter; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, John David; sisters, Muriel, Claire, Kathleen and Jean; brothers, Hudson, Eric, Grant, Clyde and Gordon.

A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
