In 1970, at the age of 48,Anne rekindled her nursing passion and took her nursing refresher course at the Miramichi Hospital. As a member of the NB Nurses Association, she continued to work at the Miramichi Hospital until her retirement in 1992.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Anne will smile and remember her forthrightness, optimism, style, dynamic personality, and wonderful gift of encouraging others. Anne was a woman of faith and courage who reached out to others as she felt the need and as the spirit called her. Her understanding, caring, honest, and compassionate nature are just some of the many reasons she was so loved and respected by her family, friends, patients,
and nursing colleagues. She will be missed dearly.
Anne loved flowers and surrounded herself with them – be they ones she grew in her own garden or ones she painted. Her creativity and enthusiasm for life were contagious and pulled others to her like a magnet.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she lived her life to the fullest and with flair, is at peace, and has gone to once again be with Amby, her true love.
