Arlene V. (Harding) Morrison, of Tabusintac, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 99.
Born in Tabusintac, on October 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude (Robertson) Harding. She worked as a clerk, prior to her retirement, and was a member of St Andrew's United Church, in Tabusintac, as well as the Tabusintac Seniors.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters Donna (Gabriel Savoie) of Neguac, and Deborah (Ernest Robichaud) of Tabusintac; four grandchildren Tammy Savoie (Jason Breau), Charline Savoie (Late Gregoire Rousselle), Tricia Arbeau (Doug), and Michel Savoie (Vicky Comeau); and eight great grandchildren Shawn Godin, Maurice Godin, Zachery Rousselle, Keith Rousselle, Brayden Arbeau, James Arbeau, Alyssa Savoie, and Alex Savoie.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald Morrison; brother Clayton Harding (Late Deborah Locke); sisters-in-law Claire Stowers (Late Bill), Barbara Watkins (Late Ron Watkins and Late Alf Ross), and Ethel MacKnight (Late Douglas); and her nephew Dwight Harding.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 2 pm, from Riverside Cemetery, in Tabusintac, with Rev. Jean Herman officiating. There will be a reception following the service at St Andrew's United Church Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tabusintac Nursing Home, or to St Andrew's United Church Fund.
