Audrey Brent Curtis

Audrey Brent Curtis, of Gray Rapids, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 63.

Born in Gray Rapids, he was the son of the late Arnold and Alleen (Coughlan) Curtis. He worked as a labourer, and was also an industrial sandblaster and a painter. He was a member of St Agnes Anglican Church, in Gray Rapids.

He will be greatly missed by his children Katie Lynch (Jason Thornton) and Tanner Curtis (Shauna Handrahan) both of McKinleyville, and their mother Dolly Gordon; his sister Helen Curtis (Allen MacDonald) of Millerton; two brothers Dwayne Curtis (Late Viona) of Barnettville, and Sherman Preston Curtis (Michelle Cosgrove) of White Rapids; four grandchildren Logan Hicks, Rileigh Hicks, Wyatt Lynch, and Colson Curtis; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant son Mitchell Audrey Brent Curtis; and two brothers Raymond and Richard.

The family will receive relatives and friends from St Agnes Anglican Church, in Gray Rapids, on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11 am, from St Agnes Anglican Church, with Father Gerry Laskey officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA.
