Beatrice Mary (Augot) LaTulippe passed away peacefully at Bridgeview Hall, on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the age of 97.
Born in Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Genevieve (Sheppard) Augot. She worked in housekeeping at the Wandalyn Inn, and was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, Millerton, and then St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle.
She was a strong loving mother who outlived her husband and two children. She embraced life and loved going to music events held at Ritchie's Wharf, travel, reading, and especially her weekly bingo.
I wish to thank my brother-in-law Herb and sister-in-law Evelyn for all the kindness and support they gave Mom these past years. I also would like to acknowledge the excellent care and kindness the staff at Bridgeview Hall provided mom for the past two and a half years.
She will be greatly missed by her family including her daughter Theresa (Paul Loewen) of Calgary, AB; two sisters Betty (Lloyd) and Shelia (Russell) both of Kentville, NS; brother Tom (Violet) of Kentville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; son-in-law Herb Kelly; daughter-in-law Evelyn LaTulippe; and several nieces and nephews. For the last years, Herb has been a constant in her life and for that I am most grateful.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. LaTulippe; daughter Judith Kelly; and son Frederick LaTulippe.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, May 8, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 10 am, from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
