Betty Beryl Jean Stewart Nash, wife of the late Simon Nash, passed away peacefully at her residence in White Rapids on Friday, March 27, 2020, at the age of 91.
Born in Farnham,England, she was a retired store keeper, homemaker, and loved her flowers. She was a member of the Islandview Senior's Club in Sunny Corner, loved playing cards, cooking, playing newfie bingo, quilting and watching her wrestling on tv. She never forgot a birth date and always wanted to know what was up with all of the family. She never gave up on any of us.
She is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Gerald Mullin) of Warwick Settlement; Derrick Stewart (Mae), Joseph Nash, and Timothy Nash (Necia) all of White Rapids; 11 grandchildren Keith Nash, Crystal Mullin, Timmy Stewart, Michael Stewart, Stacey Connors (Troy), Malcolm Stewart (Yary), Vanessa Sturgeon, Jennifer Bryenton (Tommy), Joey Nash, Brody Nash, and Nicole Nash; 17 great grandchildren Tanner, Leah, Scott , Breanna, Brody, Janessa, Jayden, Mikayla, Stuart, Madison, Benjamin, Graham,William, Emma, Maya, Jessa, and Hendrix; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Simon Nash, she was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Eliza Elizabeth (Hack); three sisters Dorothy, Rose, and Peg; four brothers George, Peter, Ernie, and Dennis; and two sons Laurie and Dennis Stewart.
At her request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
