Blaine Arnold Curtis, of Barnettville, passed away on surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 74.

Born in Gray Rapids, he was the son of the late Currie and Mabel Curtis. He worked as a trucker with Delway Construction.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Wilma (Urquhart) Curtis of Barnettville; daughter Paula Blackmore (Scott) of Cassilis; two sisters Sheila Kelly (Alvin) and Iona Coughlan (Dale) both of Gray Rapids; brother Borden (Glenna) of Gray Rapids; two grandchildren Joseph Blackmore and Taylor Blackmore; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Dale Curtis.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rick McFadyen officiating. Interment will take place in New Life United Pentecostal Cemetery at a later date.
