Byron is survived by his wife of 54 years Paulette (Gallan) of Doyles Brook, NB; his son, Sherman (Bernadette) of Crossfield, AB; his daughter, Dorothy (Warren) Jones (Pastor Terry) of Miramichi, NB; sisters, Kathy Coughlan of Fredericton, NB, Marlene Scribner (David) of Hampton, NB; grandsons, Andrew Sullivan (Dana), Matthew Sullivan (Candace) of Miramichi, NB, Jordan Warren (MacKenzie) of West Virgina, USA, Brendon Warren of Crossfield, AB; Matthew Jones of Fredericton, NB; granddaughters, Chelynn Warren (Mitch) of Crossfield, AB, Melanie Jones (Mark) of Moncton, NB; great grandchildren, Dylan, Damian, Desirae, Danika, Bryson, Brantley and Lincoln Marie, brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Evelyn (Gallan) Nash, Reggie and Claudia (Gallan) Coughlan, Danny and Dale Gallan, Henrietta (Nash) Grey, several aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews ; his special fur companion and sleep over buddy (grampy's pup) Noel Jones.

Byron was a man with many talents who could turn his hand to anything. He was most noted for his skill as a bodyman who could match any paint colour and had the magic touch of feathering.

Byron enjoyed his retirement tinkering away in his garage, maintaining his property with pride, helping family and friends, lending a hand to all who needed it. He especially enjoyed polishing his beloved truck for hours on end. Anyone who ever traveled in his truck would joke and say that they felt like they should remove their shoes before getting in, that is how clean it always was.

At Byron's request there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family committal will be held at St. Mark's United Church Cemetery, Douglastown, on Saturday August 13, 2022, at 2 pm, with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating.
