Carolyn Helen Robichaud, wife of Winston Robichaud, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the age of 73.
Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. Trevors and Helen (McCormick) Trevors. She worked at Russell cleaners for 40+ years until her retirement. Carolyn was a women of great faith, who's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family; she especially looked forward to her annual trips with her sisters.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Winston; three daughters Kimberley (Keith Shaddick) of Miramichi, Debbie (Randy Doucet) of Baie-Ste-Anne, and Sandy of Miramichi; one brother Paul Trevors (Emma); three sisters Marylin O'Kane, Diane Matchett, and Linda McLean (Brian) all of Miramichi; one brother-in-law Llewellyn Smith of Miramichi; four grandsons Tyler (Jessica), Corey (Amy), Joshua, and Timothy; two great granddaughters Elisabeth and Norah; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Robichaud and sister Sylvia Lillian Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 2 pm, from St James & St John United Church, with Rev. Alice Szemok officiating and assisted by Pastor Vaden Sutherland. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
