Catherine Mabel Malley, of Miramichi, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 87.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve (McMahon) Poirier and was a homemaker.

She will be sadly missed by her four sons David (Valerie), Ronnie, Paul (Charlotte), all of Miramichi NB and Edward (Shelley) of Alberta; six daughters Theresa Adams (Percy) of Black River Bridge NB, Rita Williston of Chapel Island Road NB, Linda Carrigan (Jim) of Cambridge, Ontario, Mable Carle (Carey) of Fredericton, NB, Joan Tozer (Brian) of Sillikers, Eva Harris (Daryl) of Cold Lake Alberta; and one brother Norman Poirier (Eva) of Village Saint-Laurent NB.

She was predeceased by son, Allen, daughter Ann and sister Hilda Carroll.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Burial will take place at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, at a later date.
