Mrs. Clara Gillespie, of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, formerly of Blackville, passed away at Mount St Joseph Nursing Home on Tuesday at the age of 93.

Born in Chelmsford she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Adeline (Sturgeon) Clark. She attended St. Andrews United Church in Blackville and was a member of the Orange Lodge, Maple Senior Citizens Home and the U. C. L.

She is survived by her three daughters, Stella Grimbleby of Miramichi, Doris Harniman (Gordon) of Ontario, Sigrid Hubbard (David) of Bryenton; two sons Gerald (Sharon) of Blackville and James (Jim) of Blackville; two sisters Ethel Clark of Miramichi and Eleanor Donald of Blackville; one brother Lyman of Miramichi, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Kenneth, she was predeceased by one brother Arnold; three sisters Doris Clark, Mildred Clark and Barbara Hubbard; two son-in-laws Robert Hennessey and Jack Grimbleby and one great grandchild Barbie Duffy.
