Clifford Ginnish, of Eel Ground, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 48.
He was the son of Mildred Anne (Stewart) Ginnish and the late George William Ginnish. He worked as a fishing captain and was a member of Eel Ground Commercial Fishery Co-op.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Colleen Newman; his three children Jonathan, Shayna, and Kayden, all at home; two brothers George Ginnish (Mary) and Layton Ginnish both of Eel Ground; and four nieces Heidi Ginnish, Kayla Ginnish, Terri Anne Larry, and Bev Larry.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother Michael.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, from St Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, at 10 am, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
