Colin Ward, husband of Anne Ward, of Eel Ground, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010, at the Moncton City Hospital, at the age of 49.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Francis) Ward. He worked as a security guard and attended St Joachim's R.C. Church, in Eel Ground.

Besides his wife Anne, he is survived by his daughter Katelyn, at home; one sister Maureen Ward, of Eel Ground; one brother Kevin Ward of Eel Ground; his grandmother Josephine Francis of Eel Ground; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Sharon Ward.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Saturday, April 10, 2010, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Sunday, April 11, 2010, from his house, 7 Micmac Road, all day. Both visitations are open to the public and all family and friends are welcome.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 12, 2010,at 1 pm, from St Joachim's R.C. Church, in Eel Ground, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Extra Mural, Arthritis Society, or to the Friends of Moncton City Hospital.
