Darlene Sullivan

Darlene Anne (Warren) Sullivan, of Blackville, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Chaleur Regional Hospital, in Bathurst, at the age of 63, with her family by her side.

Born in Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Gillespie) Warren. In her early years, she worked as a hairdresser before finding her true calling cooking in restaurants for family and friends. Darlene loved bingo and music, and she made new friends everywhere she went. Once she knew you, she loved you and would be the first person to volunteer to help someone in need.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Eugene Sullivan of Blackville; sisters Lynn Colford (Late Donald) of Howard, Pauline Jardine (Late John) of Barnettville, Brenda Warren (Clell) of Gray Rapids, and Maureen Maillet of Blackville; three brothers Wayne Warren (Loretta) of Durham Bridge, Jed Warren (Veronica) of Miramichi, and Kevin Warren of Blackville; brother-in-law Leslie Hallihan of Blackville; her special niece Lacey (Sheldon) of Blackville; her stepchildren Mary (Marc) of Shediac, Nicholas (Dianna) of Fort McMurray, and Melissa (Jacob) of United Kingdom; grandchildren Eliza, Arielle, Michelle, Chantale, and Justin; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Louise Warren.

The family will receive relatives and friends from St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Blackville, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11 am, from St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Blackville, with Father Paul Doucet officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
