David Evan Miller

David Evan Miller passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.

David was born in Saint John where he resided in his childhood; he was a resident of the former William F Robert’s school in Saint John until his move to the Miramichi many years ago. Dave made many friends over the years in the area ; quiet , kind , witty and friendly are just some of his qualities. Dave worked for a number of people in the area doing odd jobs . He was especially interested in “flowers “ and had a green thumb. His other interests were reading western mystery novels and attending the Farmers Market every Friday in the city. David was loved by everyone in his neighbourhood and will be greatly missed.

Dave was predeceased by extended family members Mona Smith and Llewellyn and Sylvia Smith. 

Leaving to mourn his loss are extended family members: Loran and Jessie McLean , Gale and Chuck McLeod , Sandra and Walter Wells, Jerry Smith (Louise) and Kathy Hill (Eric).

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 1-3 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm, with Rev. Theo Craig officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
