  • Dolores Morris, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 28, 2020, one day short of her 95th birthday.

Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Flanagan) Morris. She worked at Tower Jeweler's for 47 years and was a member of the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the C.W.L. and was especially proud of her flower gardens. She loved making crafts and decorating for each season and holiday. She always looked forward to family gatherings and especially enjoyed celebrating Canada Day and hosting everyone at her home for the parade.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and her special friends and caregivers too numerous to mention.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers Frank (Carmel) Morris, Hughie (Lillian) Morris, and Thomas Morris; and her nephew David Morris.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date and interment will take place in the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St, telephone (506) 622-7741
