Born in White Rapids, he was the son of the late Carl and Margaret (Colford) Nash. He was a laborer and attended St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Lynda (Matchett) Nash; seven sisters Veronica Duffy of Renous, Bridget Furlong (Francis) of Howards, Linda Dixon (Keith) of Napan, Margaret Munn (Willard) of White Rapids, Sylvia Duthie (Gerald) of McKinleyville, Lois Brown (John) of Kingsley N.B. and Ann Burns (Michael) of Blackville; four brothers James (Evelyn) of McKinleyville, Carl (Angela) of Barkers Point, Ralph (Sharon) of Chatham and William (Maizie) of Barnettville and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother John; two sisters Joan Furlong and Helena Furlong and one brother-in-law Simon Duffy.
