Eleanore Durelle

Eleanore (Rouselle) Durelle, of Foyer Assomption, in Rogersville, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 92.

Born in Escuminac, she was the daughter of the late John and Judith (Sippley) Rousselle. She was a homemaker and a member of Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church, in Baie Sainte-Anne.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters Laurie Anne Durelle (Stephane) of Escuminac, and Wanda Carroll (Leo) of Dalhousie; three sons Alvin (Marie) of Escuminac, Armand (Donna) of Baie-Sainte-Anne, and Rheal of Moncton; her brothers William Russell (Laura), Raymond Russell, Robert Russell (Late Nicole), and Johnny Russell (Late Barbara); her sisters Edna Doiron (Alere), Losia Jimmo, Georgina Schultz (Late Edward), and Sandra Mozerall (Alphie); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alvin; daughter Agnes Poirier; grandson Kevin Poirier; brother Leonard Russell (Late Edith); sisters Edith Robichaud (Late Howard) and Genevieve Russell.

Visitation will take place at Soeur Blandine Martin Slumber Room (Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church), on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.  The funeral service will take place at Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church, in Baie-Sainte-Anne, on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at 11 AM. All are welcome to attend the reception following the funeral service at the Old Age Club.
