Emily Jean Pauline Richard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Emily Jean Pauline Richard, who passed away in Bathurst, NB, on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 27.

Born in Miramichi, on October 30, 1997, she was the daughter of Kimberly (Brawn) Richard and the late Michael Richard.

Emily was the second youngest of her siblings and often brought both laughter and a dash of mischief to her family dynamics as she playfully tormented her brothers. She especially had a strong bond with her brother Tanner growing up. Her outgoing personality made her the life of any gathering; she was the beloved clown of the party, lighting up every room she entered with her infectious laughter and warmth. Emily had a vast circle of friends and brought joy and happiness to everyone around her. She loved her nieces and nephews immensely.

She will be greatly missed by her mother, Kimberly Richard and stepfather Steven of Miramichi; her son Chase Martin, and daughters Paisley Richard and Rylan Richard; her sisters Candace of Nova Scotia, Katlyn (Dave) of Miramichi, Ashley (Andrew) of Miramichi, and Chloe (Allen) of Miramichi; her brothers Tyson and Tanner (Tanya) both of Miramichi; her many nieces and nephews: Ashley, Ava, Carson, Blaze, Rory, Ryder, Bentley, Mikey, Axel, and Jaxx; her grandmother; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides her father, Emily was predeceased by her daughter Mya Elizabeth; her grandmother Jean (Dean) McCafferty; grandfather George Richard; and grandparents Emily and Brian Brawn.

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11 am, at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

Emily's spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
