Eric Patrick Lavoie

Eric Patrick Lavoie, of South Nelson, passed away at Percy’s Place, on November 30, 2024, at the age of 84.

Born in Rogersville, he was the son of George & Emilia Lavoie. He worked at the Nelson pulp mill for over 30 years and was a member of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. He loved camping, particularly at Sandy Point Campground, with his camping family.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Elaine Lavoie of South Nelson; daughter Sheila (Arly) of Miramichi; sons Patrick (Sarah) of Fredericton, Daryl of PEI; sister Florence of Miramichi; brothers Freddy of Bay du Vin, Leo of South Nelson; grandchildren Grace, Karly, Kylan, Neleah, Kade, Rogan, and Maven; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Frank Lavoie.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Percy’s Place or to a memorial of one’s choice.
