Born in Upper Blackville, on March 31st 1907, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Colford) Murray. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Esther was a member of St Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, a charter member of Blissfield CWL, a past member of the Upper Blackville Woman’s Institute, and a past member of the Blackville Royal Canadian Legion Branch #49 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her two daughters Faye, at home, Mary Sutherland (Paul) of Fredericton, daughter-in-law Helen Connors of Upper Blackville; grandchildren Rhonda Losier (Adair) of Moncton, Kirk Connors of Upper Blackville, Brent Connors, of Newcastle, David Sutherland (Anna), Darren Sutherland (Joanne) both of Fredericton; great grandchildren Rachel Losier, Kaylea Losier, Sara, Allan and Emma Sutherland; several nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by two sons John, infant son Myles; five sisters Margaret, Mary,Elizabeth,Alice,Josephine; five brothers Michael, John,Ernest and Murdock.
