Ethel Allison (Flett) MacIntosh, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 68.

Born on February 14, 1944, she was the daughter of Norma (Harris) and the late Alex Flett and was a homemaker.

She will be sadly missed by her husband James MacIntosh; two daughters Lynn and Susan, both of Miramichi; her mother Norma Flett of Miramichi; one sister Eleanor (Charles McLaughlin) of Miramichi; two brothers Douglas Flett (Barb) and Ernest Flett (Germaine) both of Miramichi; one brother-in-law Wilson MacIntosh (Barb) of Miramichi; two sister-in-laws Jean Smith and Mary MacIntosh-Warren (Ed Warren) both of Miramichi; two grandsons Nathan and Alex; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Grant and Effie (Trevors) MacIntosh, and one brother-in-law Sherman Smith.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 1 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place following the funeral in Tabusintac Riverside Cemetery.
