Falon Marie Sturgeon, of White Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 29 as a result of an accident.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of Rhonda (Duffy) and the late Blaine Sturgeon. Falon was a Early Childhood Educator and worked part-time at Bridget's Playhouse of Learning. Falon was a special member of White Rapids Jam Session. Falon lived life to the fullest. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Falon enjoyed any social gatherings and parties she attended. Her niece and nephew, Kate and Hudson, were the center of her world. She also held a special place in her heart for her two dogs.
She will be greatly missed by her mother Rhonda; her brother Adam (Kerri-Ann) of Blackville; her niece and nephew and her furry companions Harley and Charley; her maternal grandparents Shirley and Catherine Duffy; paternal grandmother Janet Sturgeon; her aunts and uncles Marlene (Kirby Nash) of White Rapids, Gail (Granvel Sullivan) of Upper Derby; Carla (Hayward Sullivan) of Warwick Settlement; Lois (Alvin Stewart) of Blackville, Debbie (Rodney Ross) of Blackville, and Ronnie Sturgeon (Peggy) of Gray Rapids; and her cousins Cara-Dawn, Justin, Mitchell, Zachary, Devon, Dawson, Nicole, her godfather Dougie, Rodney, Janice, Michelle, Lisa, Marie, Elsapeth, Scott, Susan, Bradley, Joey, Mark, Sherry, and Hally.
Falon was predeceased by her father Blaine; grandfather Warren Sturgeon; uncle Frank Sturgeon; aunt Patricia Gillespie; cousin Glenn Sturgeon and an infant uncle and an infant cousin.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 7 to 9 pm, and on Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 9, 2018, at 11 am, from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, with Father Vincent Donovan officiating.
