Faye Walls of Renous, NB, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 7, 2023 at the age of 74.
Born in Newcastle, Miramichi and raised in Renous, NB, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Pauline (Raiche) Hogan. She was was a member of St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, where she worked as a caretaker for many years. She loved serving her community, often showing her support through baking and cooking meals for those in need.
Faye is survived by her two daughters April Colepaugh (Gary) of Upper Derby, Karri Keenan (Jeff) of Lockstead; two sisters Edna Dunn (Late Allie) of Renous, and Brenda MacFarlane (Late Paul) of Miramichi; Four grandchildren Chelsey Matchett (Brady), Chad Colepaugh (Olivia Amos), Riley Keenan, Calvin Keenan (Danae Lynch) and great grandson, Clay Matchett. Faye is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell Walls; two brothers Eldon Hogan and Timothy Hogan.
Faye was an incredible mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family was her whole world and she reminded them of that every day. She loved to play bingo, watch hockey, and spoil her loved ones with her delicious cooking and baking.
She will be missed endlessly and remembered always.

Visitation will be held at St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11am, at St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Paul Doucet officiating.
