Fernand Joseph Breau

February 22, 1940 — June 11, 2024

Fernand Joseph Breau, of Beaverbrook, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 84.

Born in Bellefond, he was the son of the late Urbain and Josephine (Doiron) Breau. He retired from UPM Mill and enjoyed many hobbies after retirement.

Fernand made sure to never miss a softball game, setting his chair up right behind the plate to make sure the right calls were being made and players were swinging their bat! If he wasn't at the field, you would find him on the boat fishing, making sure he caught the biggest, and most fish, and making sure every bohonk in the swamp knew about it!
Fernand was a true family man who was there for you no matter what. He was the biggest support, the glue in his family, and everyone's hero.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Alice (Savoy) Breau of Beaverbrook; two sons Ronnie Breau (Denise) of Beaverbrook and Kenny Breau (Jennifer) of Sunny Corner; sister Mona L'Huillier (Late Urelle) of Miramichi; eight grandchildren Justin, Jocelyn, Jordan, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jessica, Allyson, and Jarrod; five great grandchildren Madison, Josie, Koen, Brooklynn, and Asher; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson Kiften.

In keeping with Fernand's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside burial will take place in St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home & Crematorium, 102 Pleasant St., telephone (506) 622-7741. Where your loved one never leaves our care.
