Florine (LeBlanc) Goodin, of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the age of 79.

Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Delia (Daigle) LeBlanc. She worked at Zellers before her retirement and was a member of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.

She will be sadly missed by her four daughters Peggy (Brian Haining) of Summerside, PEI, DeeDee (Les Holland) of Hampton, NB, Anne Goodin of McKinleyville, and Beth (Jeffrey Gilliss) of Napan; four sons Frank (Linda) of Miramichi, Jim (Elaine) of Miramichi, Bill (Janice) of Sunny Corner, and Paul (Deneen) of Moncton; one brother Gerald LeBlanc of Miramichi; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Byron Goodin, her daughter Gail Regan, her sister Delima, and three brothers Marcel (Jr.), Frank, and Louis.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 11 am, from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, in Nelson, with Father Jim McQuade officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or to a memorial of one's choice.
