Harold Joseph "Pape" Galley, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the age of 65.

Born in Toronto,ON, he was the son of Helen (Gorman) and the late Philip Galley. He worked as a school bus driver until his retirement and was a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Helen of Miramichi; two daughters Christine Galley (Greg Daigle) of Miramichi and Genny Galley (Marc Morris) of High Level, AB; his son Jamie (Sarah) of Fredericton; four sisters Phyllis Galley, Lynn (Kevin Doyle), Betsy (Rob Muzzerole) all of Miramichi, and Bonnie Galley of Edmonton, AB; two brothers Donald (Marilyn) of Miramichi and Fred (Bev) of Edmonton; two granddaughters Stephanie and Krista Galley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father Philip (1976) he was predeceased by two brothers Frankie (1955) and Danny (1972) and one sister Judy (Galley) Matheson (2010).

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, December 9, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at 12 pm, from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St Mary's Restoration Fund, or to a memorial of one's choice.
