Harry Herbert Phair, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 91.
Born on April 19, 1921, he was the son of the late Charles and Mabel (Taylor) Phair and worked as a labourer. Harry was also a World War II Veteran and a member of Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses, in Nordin.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Thelma; his son Marvin (Penny) of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa; his sister Ruth (Eddie Mullin) of Miramichi; and his nieces and nephews Karen Taylor, Arlene Lisk, Calvin Mullin, Mabel Ashton, Gail Cienke, Bill Turner, Ron Perry, Kathy Matthews, and Vernon Waye.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters Hazel Waye and Marita Perry, and two brothers Walter Phair and Jack Phair.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1040 King George Hwy, Miramichi, at 2 pm, with Fred Jessen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, or to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
