Mrs. Helene Vicaire, wife of the late David Vicaire, of Eel Ground, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 81.

She is survived by four daughters Marlene Vicaire, Linda Vicaire, Theresa (Anthony Ward), and Cecile (Joseph Ward) all of Eel Ground; two sons Robert Vicaire of Eel Ground and Raymond Dedam (Virginia) of Burnt Church; one sister Margaret Augustine of Burnt Church; 25 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son Paul Vicaire, and three infant triplets boys.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from St Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church, at 4 pm, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, or to a memorial of one’s choice.
