Helena Mary Chamberlain, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 89.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Melanie (Duguay) Ferron. She was a homemaker and a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed by her four daughters Theresa Arsenault (Vincent), Mona Grattan (Reginald), Dale Sheffar and Barb Dunnett (Jerry) all of Miramichi; seven sons John (Rejeanne) of Moncton, Clifford (Margaret) of Miramichi, Gerald of Miramichi, Jim (Anne-Marie) of Moncton, Francis (Natalie) of Miramichi, David Richard (Tammy) of Fredericton, and Glenn (Connie) of Miramichi; one sister Norma Landry of Miramichi; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank Chamberlain, her daughter Rita, and two brothers Sylvain Ferron and Leo Paul Ferron.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Northumberland Funeral Home, 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 1 pm, from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, St Mary's Cemetery Fund, or to a memorial of one's choice.
