(October 2, 1932 - May 3, 2012 - Born in Miramichi, NB)

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his loving family at his side. Herb succumbed to his yearlong stoic journey with Leukemia.

Herb will be missed forever by his devoted wife Christine, his very loving daughters Monica (Mike), Sheilah (Mike) & cherished granddaughter Kenedi.

Beloved brother of Lawrence (Kay), Jerry (Doris), Anne Marie (predeceased) Joan (Gerry), Robert (Susan), Mary Conte (Tony), Tim (predeceased), Donald (Anne), Cyril (Mary Jane). Cherished cousin and uncle to many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7th from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at Mount Lawn Reception Centre 21 Garrard Road (N. of Hwy 2), Whitby, ON, 905-443-3376 .

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Whitby, on Tuesday, May 8th at 10:30 am.
