Hilda Adavilla (McKibbon) Brown, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Tabusintac Nursing Home, at the age of 83.

Born in Lyttleton, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Nancy (Hamilton) McKibbon.

She will be sadly missed by her three daughters Cheryl Brown (Francis Malley) of Miramichi, Jocelyn Brown of Miramichi, and Alyson Brown (Terry Russell) of Strathadam; one son Jamey of Miramichi; one brother Jack (Mary) of Miramichi; three grandchildren Jeff, Kirstyn, and Kayla; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edwin Brown, sisters Maudie Parker, Lillian Stewart, Bessie McKibbon and Veda McKibbon and brother Leo (Bud).

At the family's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Tabusintac Nursing Home or a memorial of one's choice.
