Janet Ellery Anna (Edgecombe) Gunstone, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.

Born in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late George Richard (Dick) Edgecombe and Matilda "Tilly" (Sherman) Edgecombe.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Donald Gunstone; daughter Linda Jane Bozzetto of Toronto, ON; son Richard Gunstone of Ottawa, ON; two brothers Percy Edgecombe (Marilyn) of Saint John and Harry Edgecombe of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON; two granddaughters Michelle and Erika; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son in 1996 Brian Donald Gunstone, sister Mary Jane, and brother Rick Edgecombe.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
