The Passing of Marie Philomene Jeannette Girouard (Leclair) occurred Tuesday February 4th at the Shannex Parkland Hall,Fredericton at the age of 79.

Jeannette was formerly of Miramichi and was the Wife of the late Ernest Girouard.

Born June 12 th 1934 in Tracadie -Sheila she was the Daughter of the late Gilbert and Josephine (Comeau) Leclair.

A devoted Christian,her greatest passion beyond her faith was her Family,her gardening and travelling with Ernie to visit her Family.

Jeannette is survived by her children Karen (late Robert) Adair of Duncan B.C.,Ronald (Karen) of Miramichi,N.B. Robert (Cathy) of Hanwell N.B.,Joanne (Thomas) Clow of Charlottetown P.E.I. and Denise (Jeff) Fenske of Nanimo B.C. Her grandchildren Jason and LeeAnn Adair,Kristopher,Jessica,and Jennifer Girouard,Kendra and Colin Girouard,Adam and Katelyn Clow, Thomas and Andrew Fenske ,great grandchildren Madison,Kaylee and Lauren Adair and Elle Trevors.

She is also survived by her brothers,Stanislas (Cecelia),Leonard(Late Henriette),Yvon (Patsy) Comeau,sister Laudia (Harrison) and many nieces and nephews.

Aside from her husband and parents Jeannette was predeceased by a brother,Joseph.

Since September of 2010 Jeannette has resided at the Shannex Parkland,Thomas Hall in Fredericton N.B. The Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the many caregivers that provided excellent care that continued until her passing.The compassion,understanding and dedication shown to her were appreciated by the Family.

There will be no visitation,Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday,February 8th at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

In lieu of flowers the Family asks that donations be made to the charity of their choice.
