Born in Miramichi he was the son of the late Barney and Sarah (Domenic) Augustine.
He is survived by Nephew's and Neices,Roger (Lois) Augustine,Leona,Courtney (Sylvia) Augustine,Nonie(Ron) McIntyre,Liz Coburn,Marcel (Margaret) Thibodeau,Mary Ginnish (George),Ricky (Darlene) Augustine,Dwayne (Kathy),and Michael Robert Augustine.
He was predeceased by a Sister Agnes Simonson and a nephew Gerry Garretson.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on pFriday March 6 at 10 am from St Joachim's Roman Catholic Church Eel Ground with Father Tom Fowler officiating,burial will tke place in the Church cemetery later in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant Street,telephone 622-7741.
