Northumberland Funeral Home announces the death of John Connell who passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 61.

He was the son of the late Aloysius and Rowena (Grattan) Connell and was active in the trucking industry until the time of his death.

John is survived by his girlfriend Val, former wife Donna, two daughters Jessica Bond (Joshua) and Marie Connell (Shawn Harrigan) both of Toronto, five sisters Elaine of Toronto, Mary Clancy (Ken) of Quispamsis. Norma Ricker (Graydon) of Sussex, Theresa White (George) of Miramichi, and Joanne Votour (Wayne) of Saint John, three brothers Aloysius (Irene) of Miramichi, Patrick (Hazel) and Stephen (Natasha) both of Edmonton as well as two Grandchildren Nathan and Nicholas Bond.

There will be No Visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 11 am from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, 102 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, NB, with Pastor Willard Watling officiating.
