John Lindsay Jardine

John Lindsay Jardine passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side at Percy’s Place, on Friday September 20, 2024, at the age of 73.

He was the son of the late Weldon and Treva (Russell) Jardine of Nordin, NB.

He was a pleasant, kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by his wife Anne (Murphy) Jardine of Miramichi; daughter Lindsay Gilliss (Brad) of Napan, and his two grandchildren Archer and Scarlett Gilliss whom he adored; sister Kathy Jardine, nephews Jonathan and Andrew Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his beloved brother-in-law and sister-in-law Peter and Sheila Murphy.

He was employed at Canada Post and retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Miramichi Golf Club and golfing was his passion. He was also a member of the Miramichi Curling Club for many years.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Michelle Casey, Dr. Gerard Losier, and Lacey Fiander and her staff of 1East for their care and compassion.

We would also like to also extend a heartfelt thank you to Roy and Mary Laura MacLean for supporting us during difficult times.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11 am with Rev. Willard Watling officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Percy’s Place.
