John Edwin Perley Russell

John Edwin Perley Russell, of Miramichi, passed away at home, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the age of 86.

He was the son of the late Sonny and Mary (Bohan) Russell. Prior to retirement, he worked and operated his well established family business, Russell's Dry Cleaners, and was a member of Northumberland Lodge No. 17 F. & A.M.

He will be greatly missed by his children Deborah (Stephen Muney) of Toronto, John Russell of Miramichi, and Michael Russell (Susan) of Calgary; three sisters Brenda, Nancy (David Smith), and Carol (Bill Williams) all of Miramichi; grandson Charles Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his stepmother Evangeline (Hanley) and his sister Jean Russell.

In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in Miramichi Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
