June Allison (Blackmore) Lanteigne, of Miramichi, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 73.

Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Laura Jean (Allison) Blackmore. She worked as a dental assistant until her retirement.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter April Lanteigne of Miramichi; three sons Todd of Surrey, BC, David and Karl both of Miramichi; two grandchildren Bradley Whitney and Destin Lanteigne; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her husband Edmund Lanteigne, and her sister Dianne Ryan.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, April 14, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, at 1 pm, with Rev. Willard Watling officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Fishers of Men Ministries, or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
