  • Kenton William Linkletter, of Matthew Settlement, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the age of 19.

    Born in Miramichi, he was the son of Mitchell and Shannon (Somers) Linkletter. Kenton had a passion for hockey and played all of his life in Sunny Corner. He most recently played for the Sunny Corner Senior Men's team. He was also a member of the Lyttleton Pentecostal Church.

    He will be sadly missed by his parents; his brother Caleb (Brittney) of Moncton; his sister Caitlin (Jamie Allison) of Saint John; his grandmothers Nita Somers of Matthew Settlement and Marjorie Linkletter of Miramichi; his nephews Cohen Allison and Hunter Linkletter; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    Kenton was predeceased by his grandfathers Gordon Linkletter and Billy Somers.

    The family will receive relatives and friends from Lyttleton Pentecostal Church, on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at 2 pm, from Lyttleton Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Vaden Sutherland officiating.

    As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lyttleton Orphanage in Haiti, or to a memorial of one's choice.
