Kevin James Curtis, of Gray Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the age of 43.
Born in Miramichi, he was the son of Dwaine Curtis and the late Viona (Urquhart) Curtis. He was a truck driver and a member of Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Naomi (Kelly) Curtis; his two daughters Janna Curtis and Christina Curtis both at home; paternal grandmother Aileen Curtis; and several aunts and uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, Viona, he was predeceased by his paternal grandfather
Arnold Curtis, and maternal grandparents Paul and Aldine Urquhart.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church, on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 2 pm, from Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Graham Russell officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Naomi, Janna and Christina Curtis would like to thank the Province of New Brunswick, Jake Stewart (MLA), Shawn Morrison, the Search & Rescue Team, the RCMP,
the Ministry of Natural Resources and the many volunteers from Gray Rapids, Renous, Blackville and the surrounding areas for the many hours they spent searching for Kevin.
They also appreciate the donations given by local business and would like to thank those who prepared food for the volunteers.
