Laura Margaret (Somers) Tozer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on April 5, 2025, at Percy's Place, at the age of 80.
Born December 31, 1944, in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Evelyn (MacDonald) Somers.
Laura enjoyed spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.
She was the cherished wife of William (Bill) Tozer of Whitney, and devoted mother to Shiann of Whitney, Darren Tozer (Doris) of South Esk, and Derek Tozer (Karen) of Quispamsis. She is also survived by her three sisters Leah French (Paul) of Moncton, Lois Travis (Robert) of Dundas, ON, and Dawn Siddall (Ken) of Leduc, AB; one brother Jim Somers of Kelowna, BC; six grandchildren Nathaniel, Benjamin, Christina, Lincoln, Cassandra, and Ahna; six step grandchildren Makyla, Jaxon, Hayden, Price, Piper, and Ayden; adopted granddaughter Camryn Tozer; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at River Baptist Church, in Sillikers, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11 am, from River Baptist Church, with Pastor Les Somers officiating. Interment will take place in Back Road Cemetery at a later date.
