  • Leta (Peterson) Arbeau, of Blissfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, in Boiestown, at the age of 85.

    Born in Upper Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Cassie (Arbeau) Peterson. She worked in forest protection until her retirement, and was a member of Upper Blackville United Baptist Church.

    She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Clyde Arbeau of Blissfield; three daughters Erma (Winston Clowater) of Doaktown, Nancy (Malcolm Palmer) of Fredericton, and Sheila Foran of Alberta; two sons Ricky (Cathy) of Blissfield, and Kim (Tara Fish) of Campbell River, BC; two sisters Alma Wilson and Phyllis Connors both of Upper Blackville; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers Merle, Hinson, and Claude, and one sister Laura Miner.

    The family will receive relatives and friends from Upper Blackville United Baptist Church, on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 11 am, from Upper Blackville United Baptist Church, with Pastor Paul Inman officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
