Lewis Leroy O'Donnell (Lewie) 73, of Mimico, Ont. passed away suddenly at St. Joseph Health Centre, Toronto on Dec. 21, 2019.

Born in Lower Derby, NB, on Dec. 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Clancy and Hilda (Corcoran) O'Donnell.

Lewie is survived by his sisters Lily Matchett (late Sam) of South Nelson, and Dorval Giberson (Del) Derby Jct, many nieces , nephews and cousins in NB and Ontario, one special niece Geraldine Lance ( Blackie ) always there for him and was with him to the end.
Besides his parents, Lewie was predeceased by his sister Colleen Colepaugh (Alvin), brothers Everette (Betty) and Clancy (Junior) (Pat).

As a young man, Lewie worked at Clelands Mill and hayed at Essons. In the the early sixties, he moved to Toronto and worked at various jobs.

Lewie was a loner and had a character of his own; always putting funny names on people. In his last years he would drive his scooter in Mimico looking for NB plates to see if it was someone from down home. He was always willing to give a hand to anyone, and he loved his hockey games on TV.

By Lewie's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Burial will be held in the spring at St Peter's Anglican Church, Millerton, NB

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St .Peters Church or to a memorial of one's choice.
