Lilah Bernadette (Tucker) Curtis, of Gray Rapids, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the Bathurst Regional Hospital, at the age of 57.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of Ethel (Curtis) Tucker and the late Bernard Tucker. She was a homemaker and a member of of St Agnes Anglican Church.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Richard Curtis of Gray Rapids; daughter Christa Lee Curtis (Kevin Nash) of Gray Rapids; Raymond Curtis of Gray Rapids; two sisters Leisa Tucker of White Rapids and Gladys Fortune (Perry) of Gray Rapids; two brothers Darryl Tucker (Maureen) of Barnettville and Gregory Tucker (Vivian) of Warwick; half brother Michael O'Kane (Joanne) of Saint John; three grandchilren Chandler, Tamicka, and Martina Nash; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her brother Bernard Tucker Jr., and grandson Blake Hallihan.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 1 pm, from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, with father Gerry Laskey officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit or to a memorial of one's choice.
