Lindon Stanislas Duffy, of White Rapids, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the age of 62.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Vincent and Bernice (Tucker) Duffy. He worked as a labourer and was a member of St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, in Renous.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley (Gillespie) Duffy of White Rapids; one son Tyler Gillespie (Nicole) of Moncton; five sisters Carmel (Ernie Anderson) of Fredericton, Sharon (James Hallihan) of Renous, Norma (Freddy Burns) of Bartholomew, Daphne of Cape Breton, and Nancy (Paul Jardine) of Bernettville; four brothers Shirley (Catherine) of White Rapids, Wayne (Connie) of White Rapids, Raymond (Theresa) of Renous, and Pat of White Rapids;two grandchildren Zachary and Zoe; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Barbara Duffy, and one brother Steven Duffy.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Father Murdock Memorial Room, in Renous, on Monday, April 15, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial mass will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 11 am, from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, in Renous, with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, or to a memorial of one's choice.
