Loretta (Lorgie) Dutcher, of Miramichi, passed away at home on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the age of 71.

Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Bobby and Charlotte (Maillet) Brideau.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Tammy Anderson (Paul) of Miramichi; her son Davie Dutcher (Karla) of Miramichi; three sisters Julia Brideau (Joe Hachey) of Miramichi, Jeannine (Dean) of Sevogle, and Muriel of Edmonton; four brothers Junior (Denise) of Neguac, Roy (Annette) of Miramichi, Gerald (Theresa) of Miramichi, and Arstile (Sally) of Moncton; four grandchildren Riley, Jordan, Jaida, and Johnny; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Dutcher, and her sister Anne Marie.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11 am, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, at 11 am, with Father Peter officiating. Please note; you must provide proof of full vaccination to attend the service and masks are mandatory.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
