ULLOCK, Lorna (nee Harris). Known equally for her kindness and her baking, Lorna made a quiet and dignified departure on May 8, 2014 at the Miramichi Senior Citizen's Home in Miramichi, NB surrounded by her adoring family. Lorna was born on September 25, 1918 in Newcastle, NB to parents Fraser and Grace (Coughlan) Harris (predeceased). She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy, Vella (George) Trapani, Warren (Kay) Harris, Edith (Duncan) Tomlinson and Stickney (Joyce) Harris. Lorna follows her loving husband Harry Ullock (1987), who spent 38 years of his life making her happy.
Lorna was a wonderful and devoted mother to her six children - Pam MacDonald, Paul (Brenda) Ullock, Patty (John) Foran, Heather (Raymond) Russell, S/Sgt (ret'd) Harry (Sharon) Ullock and Burt (Betty) Ullock. She handed out kisses and cookies to her grandchildren Kelli (Kenny), Bradley, Matthew (Rene), Jason, Morgan, Lori, Eric, Mark, Trent, Michael, Jeff (Trista), and Adam. Her great grandchildren Haley, Emma, Alex, Molly, Brendan, Lilliana, Ryker, Aubrey, and Liam were always treated to many hugs and squeezes.
During the war, Lorna proudly served in the Air Force and over the years dedicated her time to the Order of the Eastern Star, Anglican Church Women (ACW), St. Andrew's Church Choir and the Royal Canadian Legion. Lorna will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
